My secret custom blended recipe plus your 4 basic ingredients make the best chili you've ever tasted!

When I lived in Mexico, I learned how to blend the different dried chilies for a full flavored blend that is the perfect blend of sweet, toasty, and hot.

Brown 1 1/4 pounds lean ground turkey or beef, add a large can of crushed tomatoes, a couple cans of tender black beans, my container of outrageously delicious Cancun Chili blend, a bottle of beer, simmer for 20 minutes and... whoa! This will be the best chili you ever made! I use the entire package because I love it spicy, but you can start with half and add more to your taste.

I have been lightly toasting and grinding my own chili powder blends for years. Stay out of Wendy's... their chili isnt that great. This is great chili! My own blend of seven freshly toasted and ground dried chilies, herbs, spices, and even a dash of cocoa powder (that's the secret ingredient).

A four ounce container makes a generous 6 serving pot of chili (or two pots of you use half a container).
